BEN "Trap Benny" Reid 2/2/25

Discover Our Journey

Founded in 2025, Mochi Lane was created by Reuben Reid to share inspiring rescue stories and promote the importance of adopting dogs. Our mission is to ensure every pup finds a loving home filled with joy and care.

Mochi Lane is more than just a platform—it’s a tribute to dogs who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Reuben lost his first dog, “Ben Trap Benny Reid,” in early 2025. Ben was pivotal in Reuben’s life as a disabled U.S. Navy Veteran. Adopted in late 2019, Ben instantly became a source of emotional strength, companionship, and healing. From the very first day he came home, Ben left an unforgettable impact.

In March 2025, Reuben rescued Mochi, a sweet and spirited pup who reignited his passion for dog rescue. Inspired by both Ben’s legacy and Mochi’s second chance, Mochi Lane was born from a desire to give back to all the dogs who need help, love, and a place to call home.

Through Mochi Lane, Reuben hopes to carry Ben’s legacy forward by supporting rescue dogs and helping them find the same unconditional love he experienced.
